1946 First Edition. The author, a pioneer motorist himself, ran in the 1900 Thousand Miles Trial as Riding Mechanic to S.F.Edge, so good credentials, to write a history of the cars he grew up with.

The most comprehensive history of the company from birth to the end of WW2, plus plans for the future.

Hardback in good condition for age, very slight wrinkling to early couple of pages, otherwise extremely clean and bright with many illustrations and b/w photos throughout. Dust jacket is clean and bright, small losses to top and bottom of front spine, scuffing to edges, now in a protective clear cover. Lovely example of a scarce book.
