An extremely rare 24 page brochure from the Daimler Company providing detailed information on the silent sleeve-valve engine and other special features of Daimler design. Undated but beleived to be c. 1928. Publication 205.
Covers all aspects of the engine design and operation, with many line drawing illustrations, lubrication of engine, information on bench tests performed by the RAC to prove the efficiency of the engine. Also information on carburettor, clutch, axle, brakes and steering.
Cream cover is a little grubby in places and there is rusting to the staples but otherwise in remarkably good condition for age. Contemporary dealer ‘stamp’ on front.
