This rare American book concentrates on the period from 1894 to the early 1950s with sections including The Dirt Tracks 1902-1950s, The Vanderbilt Cup 1904-1916, Indianapolis and other speedways, Land Speed Records, Hill Climbs 1905-1969, Les Grandes Epreuves and Italian Classics.

1975 first edition, large format hardback in good condition throughout. Slight foxing to first intro page but rest very clean. Dust cover also in good condition and in protective clear cover. Slight sunning to left hand third of front cover. Magnificent book.
