Very interesting publication, providing an early guide to motoring across the Lake District in 1929. Details a variety of routes backed up with 32 full page monogravure illustrations featuring views experienced during the journey. Fascinating!
Soft cover book running to 62 pages, plus period advertising in the rear in addition, ads for many hotels still in existence today etc. Inside is in good condition for a 95 year old veteran – some minor foxing in places. Brown cover is clean with image glued to front together with cord string bow tie binding. Protruding edges have folded in over time and use.
